KAKATA, June 5 (LINA) – Margibi County District #5 Representative Clarence G. Gahr, has donated several motorcycles to youth of his district for their personal use.

Representative Gahr, who is Chair of the House Joint Committee on Public Accounts, Audit and Expenditure, made the donation on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Perkin’s Farm, Benda Clan, Borlorla Township, District#5, Margibi County.

Speaking at the formal turning over ceremony, Representative Gahr lauded the dedication and unity shown by the motorcyclists in the district during the 2023 general and presidential elections.

“I acknowledged your pivotal role you motorcyclists played during the elections which led to his successful reelection to the house of representative for the second term and I must in this light express my profound appreciation to the leadership and members of the cyclists’ union for their trust, resilience and commitment,” Representative Gahr said.

“I made a promise, and today, I have come to honor that promise and bear in mind that these motorbikes symbolize not just a campaign agreement but a partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared development goals for our district and all of you, my brothers for standing by me during the election; let’s do it again in 2029,” he said with a beaming smile.

He called on all motorcycle unions in the district and the general citizenry to hold together and work in unity for the growth and development of the district.

It can be recalled that during the 2nd campaign bid of Representative Gahr, the motorcycle unions in the district committed to assisting in grassroot mobilization and outreach and helping to spread his reelection messages across the district’s most remote areas for which he promised to empower them with motorcycles.

About 20 brand-new Bajaj (Black Exhaust) motorbikes were donated to the motorcyclists by Representative Gahr.
